Air ambulance called to Maresfield crash

The Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance was called to help a motor-cyclist who suffered neck injuries in a road crash at Maresfield.

A nearby paddock was used as a landing site by the helicopter on Friday (August 2) afternoon.

Sussex Police and South East Coast Ambulance staff also attended.

The rider was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, by road accompanied by the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS).
