Affordable homes take shape on former parking area in Lealands Drive, Uckfield

Progress is being made on building six affordable homes on land that includes a former parking area in Lealands Drive, Uckfield.

The development of four two-bedroom flats and two three-bedroom houses can be seen from The Drive.

The infill site is being developed by Stonewater in partnership with Wealden District Council, the Homes and Communities Agency and Trinity Homes.

The partnership is building two more three-bedroom houses on a former parking area in Campbell Close.

Stonegate says works on site are progressing well and completion is anticipated in Spring 2016.
