Gone with the Wind star Vivien Leigh’s former home near Uckfield is for sale.
Tickerage Mill, a refurbished 17th Century property has had many illustrious owners, say property agents Savills.
Previous residents include artist Richard Wyndham, Sir Ronald Armstrong Jones (Lord Snowden’s father) and Kenneth Letts, of Letts Diaries fame.
Vivien Leigh, whose credits included Gone With the Wind and A Street Car Called Desire, came to Tickerage Mill after her divorce from Laurence Olivier.
There she entertained guests including Princess Margaret, Sir John Gieguld and Sir Winston Churchill.
Offers in the region of £3.5m are sought for the property which is between Framfield and Blackboys.
