£10,000 specialist equestrian equipment stolen from Hadlow Down

Thieves cut chains and padlocks to steal more than £10,000 worth of specialist equestrian equipment from Hadlow Down late on Monday night or in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

An appeal has gone out from the owners to help spread the word because the items stolen would be easy to identify.

They said the police were shocked at how many chains and padlocks were broken to get in to steal a carriage, trailer and harnesses. Fortunately no animals were taken.
