Uckfield people are invited to join a swimathon taking place in town over the weekend of Friday, April 7, to Sunday, April 9.
The aim is to raise funds in aid of Marie Curie, a charity for people living with terminal illness, and their families.
Swimmers can challenge themselves to 5k, 2.5k or 1.5k individual, or Team 5k, or 1.5k distances and raise funds for the charity.
A similar event was held at the pool two years ago and 23 people took part raising more than £2,000.
Richard Long, Marie Curie collections co-ordinator locally, praised Dawn Barnard-Voice, swimming co-ordinator at Uckfield Leisure Centre.
He said: “Dawn and her team do a fantastic job in helping to make the Swimathon the success that it is. She will be co-ordinating again this year and that’s a real bonus for all concerned.”
If you would like to take part in the Swimathon you will find entry details here on the Swimathon website.
