Your chance to join in ‘Big Toy Drop’ campaign

Cube Storage in Uckfield is joining forces with Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice to run a ‘Big Toy Drop’ campaign.

Rod Payne, self-storage manager at Cube, said this was the perfect time of year to run the campaign because children might have toys they can spare following Christmas.

His company is reaching out to parents and children asking them to consider donating a toy to Chestnut Tree House, their charity partner.

The donated toys will be stored in one of Cube’s storage units until the end of January and then delivered to Chestnut Tree House for all the children currently in their care to enjoy, or to be placed in the charity’s High Street stores to help raise funds.

All you have to do to get involved is head over to Cube Storage on Bellbrook Industrial Estate (opposite Green DIY), ring the buzzer at reception, and one of the team will come down and put your donation safely into storage until the end of the month.

Rod said: “Please consider donating any unwanted Christmas toys, games, or books to our ‘Big Toy Drop’. Chestnut Tree House is a charity close to our hearts, and we have a chance to do something really worthwhile.”
