Who stole Uckfield play area equipment?

“Our grounds staff have now found evidence today [July 20] that someone has been trying to remove another part of play area equipment from the recreation ground.

“To remove this equipment would require someone to be able to reach a great height (requiring the use of a stepladder or equivalent), and appropriate tools (drills/spanners etc).

“This is a therefore a serious matter, and has been reported to Sussex Police.

“If anyone sees anything suspicious can they please contact Uckfield Town Council on 01825 762774 or admin@uckfieldtc.gov.uk or Sussex Police on 101 or 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk
