The call for a referendum on parking in Uckfield High Street came at a public meeting on Saturday, February 7.

Where to vote in Uckfield referendum

Polling stations where Uckfield townspeople can vote in a referendum about High Street parking have been announced by the town council.

The referendum is to be held on Thursday, March 12, from 4-9pm and the polling stations are at:

  • Ashdown Room, Uckfield Civic Centre, Bell Farm Lane
  • Foresters Hall, Harcourt Road, Uckfield
  • Mobile classroom at front of Manor Primary School, Downsview Crescent
  • Ridgewood Village Hall

A yes or no answer is required in the referendum which asks the question: “Do you support the removal of current on-street parking provision in Uckfield High Street.
