Uckfield trampoline gymnasts become national champions

Two Uckfield Trampoline gymnasts have become national champions representing their club at the British Championships held in September at the Arena in Birmingham.

Abi Jaques and Erifilly Heonos are both members of the Sky High Trampoline Gymnastics Academy based at Fun Abounds Trampoline Centre on the Bellbrook Estate.

Abi, 21, is now the 2018 Double Mini Trampoline (DMT) champion in the 17 to 21 age group, whilst Erifilly, 16, is the 2018 DMT champion in the 15 to 16 age group.

Erifilly also won the Loule Cup, taking junior gold, when she represented Great Britain in an international competition in Portugal earlier this month. Next month she will represent Great Britain in the prestigious World Age Games in Russia.

The girls’ coach Gail Andrews said she was extremely proud of them and all they had achieved adding: “They are a great inspiration to younger members of the club.”
