Uckfield Town Council raises fees and charges

Fees and charges to use Uckfield Town Council land and properties – such as allotments and pitches – will rise from the next financial year which begins in April.

It is continuing with its policy, established a year ago, to up the costs by the Consumer Price Index (CPI).

The index is the measure used by the government to target inflation.

The CPI 12-month rate (the amount prices change over a year) between July 2013 and July 2014 stood at 1.6%.
