Uckfield solicitors wear pink to raise funds for breast cancer research

Staff at Dawson Hart solicitors, Uckfield, dressed in pink on Friday and raised more than £500 towards breast cancer research.

They were taking part in the Breast Cancer Campaign's Wear It Pink Day and were helped by other town businesses which contributed prizes to a draw.

Staff also made cakes to boost funds.

Marketing administrator at Dawson Hart, Paula Geear said: “This is a charity very close to our hearts as we lost our office manager, Chris Phillips, to this disease in August.”

She said Dawson Hart was grateful for generous donations received for the raffle. Businesses contributing included:
