Peaches now available at Hartfields
New season peaches have arrived at Hartfields and English cherries are available there too.
A whole new menu is coming in too. Dishes include courgette and spinach fratata, a Spanish-style meal served warm with a salad; quiche – that will change daily – with a potato, spring onion and dill salad; a Hartfields take on a Waldorf salad, and cod and prawn fishcakes, always popular.
Summer reductions on stock at SG Home Interiors
There are lots of summer stock reductions at SG Home Interiors, including upholstery to make way for new and some ex-display appiances.
Debbie Reed said there were “massive savings on retail prices”.
Coffee and cake are available there too if you would like to stop for refreshments.
• The store raised £126 for Marie Curie last weekend when they held a blooming great tea party. Debbie said thank you to all who visited.

New stock arriving weekly at Chapter Three
Cotten and linen were snapped up by shoppers at Chapter Three during last week’s heat wave but plenty of stock is still arriving for summer.
Items are being added to a sale rail each week so it is worth taking a look at that while you are in the shop.
New metallic and leather bags should be in by now too.
You’ll spot layout changes being made soon. Chapter Three owner Kay Bevan wants to make room for new jewellery displays and more clothing rails before the winter season starts.

Gem wall and table clocks, and photo frames, have become popular at Carvills and are available in a great selection of colours.

A range of ceramic vases has been extended with a new collection from Leslie Gerry. Six designs include pheasant, spaniel, fox, westie, cat and collie.
Carvills summer sale starts on Thursday, July 13. There will be discounts on bed linen, pictures, furniture, lighting, giftware, fabrics and wallpaper.

There are bargain shelves stocked with goods for £1 an item at Kamsons Pharmacy. The range from toothpaste, to body creams and shampoos and conditioners.

Chestnut Tree Children’s Hospice charity shop is looking forward to Uckfield Festival and planning to get involved with the Big Day Out event by holding a Grab a Bargain Day.
You will be welcome to call in and join the fun.

Josefina’s new website is taking shape
Work is progressing well on a new online shop for Josefina and testing begins this month in preparation for the website to go live towards the end of September, ready for Christmas.
Eventually it is hoped all furniture will be available to buy online across the country as well as in the Uckfield High Street shop.
A new window display was completed this week to give you an idea of the treats inside the store – look out for new jewellery coming soon.
