Uckfield residents enjoy face-painting and dog show at Big Lunch

Residents of Manor Park and Hempstead Fields gathered for a Big Lunch on Sunday.

They met in Uckfield Rugby Club’s clubhouse where there were games for the children, Punch and Judy, face-painting, refreshments for all and a raffle. Uckfield Fire Service brought along a fire engine.

Spiderman has his face painted in a design to suit his name at the Manor Park and Hempstead Fields Residents’ Association Big Lunch on Sunday.

Winners of a design-a-hat for the Queen’s birthday celebration competition were announced and prizes awarded to six Year 4 pupils from Manor Primary School.

The raffle and donations raised more than £110 for Demelza Hospice Care for Children.

A dog show went ahead outside and rosettes were awarded to the winner. See some pictures below.
