Resurfacing planned for the Hempstead Road car park in Uckfield

Resurfacing of a potholed car park next to the Hempstead Road, Uckfield, play area is to take place next week.

The town council-owned car park serves both the play area and the Osborn Hall.

The works are due to start on Monday (March 25) and are due to last around a week.

Users of the hall have had their events moved to Uckfield Civic Centre.

Pedestrian access to the play park will be maintained but, the council says, there will be no access for vehicles during the works.

Osborn Hall is used by the Guides.
