Uckfield dad of two Darren Coleshill has reached the finals of the sixth annual Mum and Dad (MAD) Blog Awards , which celebrate the UK’s thriving parent blogging community.
His blog, OneDad3Girls.com, is one of six finalists up for the Photo award.
More than 200,000 nominations were submitted in the awards this year, with just 75 blogs reaching the finals.
Darren said: “I am so amazed and proud to have reached the finals. I started writing this blog in 2010 just as a way to keep track of our family’s memories, and it’s grown from there into a photo journal.
“Being a finalist means the world to me, and all my family are so proud.”
Darren will find out if his blog is a winner in September, at a red carpet award ceremony in London. For the next month, readers can vote for his blog here
Sally Whittle, founder of the awards, said: “The MAD Blog Awards celebrates the thousands of parents up and down the country who have discovered blogging as a way to capture family memories and make new friends.
The standard of entries this year was incredible, and we’re so impressed with all the finalists’ blogs.”
