Uckfield firefighters to help Santa deliver presents

Father Christmas will be visiting the homes of Uckfield children in a gleaming fire engine thanks to the town’s firefighters.

The local station is setting up a door-to-door service to deliver presents to excited children on Christmas Eve.

For just £2 the man in red will surprise a loved one with a hand-delivered present. All you have to do to receive this personal service is to arrange for the present to be dropped off at the station, clearly labelled  and wrapped with the child’s name and address, along with the small donation. All money raised will be donated to The Fire Fighters Charity.

Residents will be able to drop off presents from December 8 up until December 21 between 9am to 5.00pm.

Then on Christmas Eve Father Christmas will deliver these presents to the recipients requested in a fire engine.

The service is only open to the community of Uckfield.
