Two Uckfield shops are on the market. One of them is the former George Moss jewellers next to Waitrose, and the other is on the opposite side of the road, Cadari, a gift shop, which is closing down.
George Moss has moved to new larger premises at 140 High Street, Uckfield, (see Diamonds and snow come together for opening of George Moss jewellers) and the lease is now available for their former compact shop at 100C.
Commercial agent Lawson Commercial says the total floor space is 306 sq ft and the shop has an attractive arcaded shopfront plus a flank wall facing Waitrose with two prominent advertising boards.
It is described as being ideal as a gift shop or similar and available on a new ten year lease at a rent of £11,250 pa.
The Cadari premises, at 21 High Street, next door to Card Factory have an overall area of 356 sq ft, including the front retail area and a store.
A new lease is available with a rent of £9,500 a year. Chris Lawson said that could be for three or five years, the landlord was prepared to be flexible.
