93-year-old delighted with new kitchen
SG Home Interiors have just completed fitting a kitchen for a 93-year-old Uckfield customer, Norman.
Debbie Reed from the shop in Bell Farm Road said they were impressed by Norman’s knowledge of products available and how he knew exactly what he wanted to change in the kitchen.
He now has a new Crown Imperial kitchen in white gloss, with Karndean flooring throughout.
Debbie said: “He wasn’t happy with his old kitchen and didn’t want to just make do. Originally he fancied a modern handle-less kitchen, then he thought further and decided if he developed arthritis he may find it tricky to open doors.”
Norman is very active and goes out on the bus every day to various local towns and he said he chose SG Home Interiors to supply his kitchen because he wanted to see a person if he needed to and not be ringing a call centre. He enjoys popping in for a chat and coffee.
Debbie added: “We made it as stress-free as we were able to as a new kitchen is a big purchase for most people, not something you do regularly and is often more stressful than you’d imaging.
She said: “Norman is thrilled with the kitchen and is enjoying cooking in it.”
