Josefina is organising events too at their Piltdown workshop and classroom. One is a make-up master class and the other a workshop showing you how to use Autentico Chalk Paint.
The Learn Your Face make-up class is on April 21, from 3-4pm at Ashgrove Farm. It gives you an opportunity to work with an accredited professional make-up artist, creating a subtle flawless natural day look and then transforming into an evening look.
The painting workshop takes place on Saturday, April 21. You will learn in a fun, relaxed and informative workshop about the versatility of Autentico chalk paint, the colour range, and how to create a soft finish with waxes.

Trinket boxes and ornaments are among pottery ideal for painting as Mother’s Day gifts at Kilnwood Studio in Uckfield High Street.
Owner Jane DeVay says dads are welcome to call in with their children to create their own presents.
Also, looking ahead to Easter the studio has plenty of options for painting accessories for chocolate eggs or replacing them altogether with a pottery version. There are even pottery egg boxes to transform with colour.
Jumpers still available at Chapter Three

The shop is full of dresses which are perfect for prom or ball with tempting prices. All money raised will go to the children’s hospice.

New styles of composite doors at Superior Glass
New styles of 44mm composite doors have been added to the range at Superior Glass. They include a traditional 30s-style door and a three-quarter glazed door. There are new contemporary styles too.

Hartfield’s hopes to take over neighbouring shop mid-April
Progress is being made towards Hartfield’s Produce Store taking over a neighbouring shop in Uckfield High Street.
James Hartfield is hoping the deal will be clinched mid-April and that work can begin after that to enlarge his restaurant.
He said everybody in the Hartfield’s team was looking forward to having more space, particularly those working in the kitchen.
His planning application has been approved and a designer come up with some nice ideas for the internal arrangement.
In the meantime it is business as usual and there are new lunch and specials menus.
Breakfast specials include:
Drinks: Winter Warmer Red Bush Punch, to which you can add Brandy.
Food: Smoked Kippers, Wilted Spinach and Poached Egg; or Warm Jumbo Oats, soaked overnight and served with warm fruit compote and local honey, or sliced banana and warm chocolate sauce; or Smashed Avocade and Free Range Local Eggs (poached or scrambled), with chilli, lime and spring onion, smashed avocade, roast cherry tomatoes on thick cut toast.
Lunch specials include:
Drinks: Hot Winter Warmer Red Bush Punch, to which you can add Brandy; Mixed Winter Berry and Banana Smoothie, to which you can add Gin; or Toffee Waffle Ice Cream Milkshake.
Light Bites: Lemon and Coriander Chicken Skewers with paprika mayo.
Mains: Coronation Chicken Sandwich, which is chicken breast mixed with Hartfields coronation blend on thick cut bread, Cos, tomato, crisps and side salad; Roast Veg, Mixed Bean and Quinos Wrap, with sweet chilli mayo, spinach, peppers, crisps and side salad; or Welsh Rarebit Topped Sourdough Toast, with roast cheerry tomatoes and poached eggs, and, if you like, you can add two rashers of bacon to this.
