Theatrical costumes go on sale at Chestnut Tree charity shop in Uckfield

Fairytale and pantomime character costumes are among a selection for sale at the Chestnut Tree children’s hospice charity shop in Uckfield.

Some have been worn on stage at the world-famous Glyndebourne  opera house too, in productions of Lord of the Rings and Figaro.

All the costumes have been donated by a costume-maker to help the charity shop raise money to look after hundreds of local children with life-shortening conditions.

The costumes went on sale yesterday with prices from £5 upwards and staff at the shop model some of them here to show the quality and variety available.

More of the costumes can be seen below.
