The Grove at Blackboys plans ideas-sharing event

A community ideas-sharing event is to be held at The Grove Farmhouse Cafe in Blackboys on Saturday, April 27.

It is being organised by the cafe, in partnership with Action in Rural Sussex, to gather ideas for events that could take place at the venue.

Suggestions can include courses, art and crafts, talks, meet-ups, hobby/interest groups, well-being/support.

Free tea and cake

Emma Doherty say there will be free tea and cake at the idea-sharing event and people are welcome to pop in any time between 10am and midday on Saturday, April 27, at The Grove which is a Brownings Farm Workshops, Lewes Road, Blackboys, TN22 5HG.

She says: “Come and let us know what you would like to see taking place at The Grove. Celebrate our community and everyone in it.”

Easter opening hours

• The Grove will be closed for an Easter break from Monday, April 8, to Friday, April 12.

It will be open from Monday, April 15, to Thursday, April 18, but closed on Good Friday, April 19, and Bank Holiday Monday, April 22.

It will re-open again on Tuesday, April 23.
