Success for Framfield paddlers at Dragon Boat Festival

Paddlers from Framfield Primary School came fourth out of 50 teams competing in the Dragon Boat Festival at Bewl Water at the weekend.

Framfield school paddlers who came fourth out of 50 teams in the Dragon Boat Festival at Bewl Water at the weekend.

Sixteen paddlers, plus a drummer, were part of the successful crew racing in Chinese-style Dragon Boats over a 250-metre course.

One of them, Monique Neeter, said they had a fabulous day and raised nearly £4,000 for the school.
