Specsavers collect toys for children’s hospice

Specsavers Opticians in Uckfield High Street are collecting toys for Chestnut Tree children’s hospice.

Store director Badrinath Mohandas was pleased that Wealden MP Nus Ghani popped in last week to donate a toy herself and raise awareness of the campaign.

He said: “It was lovely to see Nus, and really nice of her to take time out of her busy schedule to pop in and see us – and donate a toy which I am sure will make the child that receives it smile this Christmas.

“There is still time to donate a toy in store, so why not pop in and see us today.”
