Simmons Gainsford quiz night raises £600 for charity

A quiz night organised by accountants Simmons Gainsford in Uckfield raised more than £600 for Chailey Heritage.

Thirty-nine contestants took part in the event at the Highlands Inn, Uckfield, including teams from C J Thorne, Neva Consultants, Rix and Kay, and from Simmons Gainsford and Chailey Heritage themselves. Each business also donated gifts for a raffle.

The winning team was TAKE VAT from Simmons Gainsford.

Money raised will go towards continuing support of Chailey Heritage Foundation, which provides on-going education, transition services and care for children suffering with physical disabilities and complex health needs.

James Duggan, Simmons Gainsford partner in Uckfield said it was a fantastic and fun evening for a very worthy cause. He thanked all those involved.
