Free trials are being offered of courses being run by Nutley-based Bellamy Consultancy and Coaching.Actioncoach-UK-Winner-SE

The first takes place today at the Amex Stadium and is for Action Club, there’s a seminar in Tunbridge Wells about The Secret to Building a Great Business on Wednesday, and on Thursday, August 23, ProfitClub meets at Uckfield Civic Centre.

Co-operative Funeralcare raise £110 for Raystede

Fund-raisers at The Co-operative Funeralcare, Uckfield, raised about £110 through a cake stall and raffle on a scorching day in Uckfield High Street.

Chiropodist/podiatrist unveils new website

Chiropodist/podiatrist Karen Bedwell has unveiled a new website which can be found at https://www.karenbedwell.com.

Karen has 25 years experience in independent health care and continues to update her qualifications and knowledge. Most recently she has completed a two-year post graduate diploma in diabetes. Now she is working towards an MSc with a special interest in diabetes.

She offers day and evening appointments at her clinic in Uckfield where there is off-road parking and full disabled access.

Karen deals with all aspects of foot care including gait analytis, bio mechanical assessment and orthosis – a device placed on the body to modify or correct functional and structural characteristics of the neuromuscular system and skeletal system.

Refurbishment under way at The Picture House restaurant

Refurbishment began at The Picture House restaurant in Uckfield at the end of July and it is due to re-open early in September.

Amira’s Kitchen donates £214 to charity

Amira’s Kitchen donates funds to charity every time a customer orders a speciality dish from its menu and during April, May and June 1072 meals were ordered enabling £214.40 to be donated to Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and the JAAGO Foundation which enables the youth in Bangladesh to help the impoverished community.

The Grange Road restaurant continues to evolve and most recently its bar area has been revamped and new air-conditioning installed.

Sue aims to help campaign through ebook salesWAAF COVER FRONT copy

Sue Edwards of SJE Marketing is re-promoting an ebook she published about her mother’s war years in the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force.

The book is adapted from Daphne Dangerfield’s original diaries, and notes, written in secret during World War 2.

Sue is now contributing £1 from the purchase of each ebook towards Save Tangmere Tower, a campaign to preserve and restore perhaps the last remaining symbol of RAF Tangmere in the village. Read more on her own website.
