Ridgewood Post Office staff show off their fund-raising Christmas jumpers

Ridgewood Post Office staff donned Christmas jumpers on Friday to raise funds for Save the Children.

Even border terrier Ted was wearing a Christmas jumper for the occasion. He belongs to Alice Harding who is holding him in our picture.

Sue Gothard who owns the Post Office with husband Jon knitted her own jumper, finishing it just in time.

It matched some of the jumpers included in bunting around the Post Office. See in our picture below. Some of those little jumpers were knitted by her mother-in-law who enjoyed getting involved.

The Post Office collected £92.23 for Save the Children through Christmas Jumper Day and Sue said she was grateful to all their generous customers for contributing to the total.
