Ridgewood FC complete dream treble

Ridgewood FC continued an amazing run of form last night winning the Parsons Cup Challenge and so completing a treble.

They won, one-nil against Ringmer Seconds at Burgess Hill FC’s ground, having become Mid Sussex Football League Divison Six champions last week and winners of the Malins Challenge Cup last month, writes Tessa McCracken.

As in the Malins Challenge Cup the winning goal was scored by Worthing Hospital physiotherapist, Dan Conner, this time in the seventh minute of stoppage time.

A big crowd of supporters turned out last night, swelled by the momentum of the club’s current success.
