Praise for Lewes Road residents after accident last night

Lewes Road residents were praised after an accident last night for the way they helped before fire service, ambulance and police arrived at the scene.

One resident who lives nearby, Frankie Overgage, said on Uckfield Talk, that one car was involved in and several others were damaged.

“The accident showed one thing though – absolutely amazing community on Lewes Road, residents did a blinding job until the fire service, ambulance and police arrived.

“Never seen so many people respond so well and quickly in a time of need. So many caring, wonderful humans who live and work on this road.”
