Passers-by watched last week as a new window painting took shape at Kilnwood Studio at the top of Uckfield High Street.
Now you can see Pirate Wilson and his trusty bird, an owl eye-patched just like him, pointing the way inside the pottery painting studio.
Pirate Wilson is standing on a sandy beach with the sun shining down and a box of treasure in the background.
The new theme has taken over from one created for Valentine’s Day of two owls in trees with branches touching in a heart shape.
It was created by Lisa Todhunter who runs the business with Teresa Smith.
Two lucky winners were presented with Easter egg prizes last week after taking part in a competition run by the studio to choose the best decorated pottery egg.
Winner of the under eight section was Angelica Jervis and winner of the over eights was Isla Palmer.
Angelica painted a pattern around her pottery egg while Isla created a face.
The competition was judged by Cathy Watson from Uckfield News who said she was impressed by all the entries and it was difficult to choose just two winners.
