Piggery could become home office

Plans to turn a former piggery at Herons Ghyll into a home office and swimming pool changing area are before Wealden Council.

The building which is in the grounds of Grade 2 listed Hendall Manor would require only “minimal” works to facilitate the proposed re-use of the building.

“It is proposed to utilise materials that would ensure the former piggery would compliment its setting adjacent both in relation to the listed dwelling and within its wider environs,” says a letter submitted with the planning application.
