Parade Radio shop is up for sale

Parade Radio, Uckfield, owners to retire

Proprietors of long-established Uckfield business, Parade Radio, are to retire.

A for sale sign is now outside the electrical shop, which is just off the upper High Street.

Parade Radio combines retail sales with electrical repairs.

Commerical property agent Chris Lawson, of Lawson Commerical, said:

“It is a very interesting property and comprises a shop at the front facing towards the High Street which has potential for redevelopment, together with a three-bedroomed cottage, currently let on a registered tenancy, plus some offices and a detached garage block which could convert to a residential unit subject to planning.”

“So plenty of potential for an imaginative purchaser.”

Yesterday, UckfieldNews.com reported that the former Dragon Inn restaurant was set to be converted into an estate agents office. The two premises are within a few yards of each other.
