More jobs for nurses, care assistants and team leaders are available at Manor Gardens care home, between Uckfield and Crowborough.
Ali Barnes, a previous manager at the home who re-joined as operations director in February, would like to hear from anybody interested in joining her team.
Ali said she was delighted with the calibre of people already recruited and hoped more would like to join them: “Applicants must be kind, have good listening skills and be keen to help other people in just the same way they would like to think of their grandparents being cared for.”
Her top priority is to ensure the well-being of residents is at the heart of everything that happens at the home and she wants to recruit people who understand the importance of that ethos.
Rates start at £7.40 an hour and training is provided which will lead to a diploma in health and social care.
Flexible working is offered. Short days, long days, twilight shifts and nights are all available.
If you would like to know more please contact Ali on 01825 714400 or by email at email@example.com.
Ali first joined Manor Gardens as manager in 2010, after a career in nursing.
She left in 2012 to commission what became an award-winning home for Care UK at Hailsham, and then was promoted to be regional clinical manager for 16 homes from Dorset to Hailsham and into Surrey.
She said: “I am pleased to have been asked to be back at Manor Gardens as operations director and it is particularly nice that there are still residents here who recognise me from my time as manager.“
