BBC presenter opens Uckfield charity shop
Katie Derham, presenter of the BBC Proms, opened a new St Peter and St James Hospice charity shop in Uckfield today.
The shop, Simply Fashion, is in the former Kandey premises and complements the hospice's original shop at the bottom of the High Street which was also re-launched today.
Our picture was taken by Ron Hill and in it Katie is watched snipping the ribbon by, from the left, hospice head of retail Theresa Wilson, trustee Peter Boyse, manager Elaine Maddison and chief executive Colin Burgess.
