Buxted Art Group puts on its 27th annual exhibition
A retrospective display of work created by the longest-standing member of Buxted Art Club was included in the club's 27th annual exhibition over the weekend.
Geraldine Evans recently celebrated her 90th birthday and has only recently given up the role of preparing the hall for club meetings each Monday.
The whole exhibition covered a variety of media and approach and there was a themed corner where artists were asked to present their interpretation of one image. Organisers said the resulting paintings showed the wonderful imagination, artistic talent and humour of the group.
Raffle proceeds will be given to the Buxted Community Hall Trust who are fund-raising to build a new community hall.
