Jazz duo entertain at celebration
More than 30 businesses were represented at the opening of The Marketing Eye's new Uckfield offices on Thursday evening.
The beamed offices at Nelson House were decorated with Christmas trees and lights and a jazz duo entertained 50 guests.
Neil Edwards, managing director of The Marketing Eye said: “We were delighted to be joined by so many clients and friends on what was a very special occasion for us.
'The move into Uckfield is the next step in our growth plans and we hope, not only to be the first choice for Uckfield businesses and their marketing requirements, but an employer of choice too."
The Marketing Eye employs six people and plans to take on two more in the near future.
Among the guests were representatives of local businesses which helped fit out the new premises. They included Tim Knibbs of Knibbs Computer Services, which handled all the IT requirements.
He said: “It is great to see local businesses choosing each other and supporting each other in this way. Hopefully more and more businesses will ‘buy local’ in 2010.
