Children at Holy Cross, Uckfield, wear red, white and blue

Children at Holy Cross School, Uckfield, wore red, white and blue on Friday and dressed as kings and queens to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

They sang Gary Barlow's jubilee song and then enjoyed a party organised by the Parents and Friends Association.

Assistant headteacher Melissa Ash said: "it was a lovely, relaxed party which the children and adults all enjoyed. Many thanks to the PFA for all their efforts.

Thanks to Ron Hill for these pictures. Best dressed competition winners Robyn Taylor and George Brown can be seen sitting on the thrones.
