Rocks Park School children entertain at dance festival
The weather stayed fine for a dance festival at Rocks Park Primary School, Uckfield, on Monday.
The theme of the festival was Sports Sensations with pupils from reception to Year 6 performing dances they choreographed in front of crowds of peers and parents on the school field.
Reception children donned martial arts outfits and performed to 'Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting', Year 6 pupils wore black to perform The Haka and the Dance Club choreographed their own dance to Chariots of Fire by Vangelis.
Year 1 were Superheroes and danced to Superman and Zumbatomic Club encouraged everyone on to the feet to join in with Zumba He Zumba Ha.
Year 3 wore ponchos and danced to Zumba Mexicano. Year 4 danced to Eye of the Tiger and Year 5 This is 2012.
The festival finale was a routine from Gymnastics Club to Alley Cat.
