Art department at Uckfield college holds exhibition of work
The art department at Uckfield Community Technology College opened its doors last week to show the work of A-level students.
About 50 students showed work ranging from digital photography to installations, oil paintings, glass, ceramics, film and felting.
Emma Goodier, curriculum leader for art at the school said: "This is one of the strongest shows I have seen from students since my start here. We are thrilled with the results of students' work and believe it to be of a fantastic standard which we hope will be reflected in our results in the summer.
"Many of our Year 13 students are moving on to foundation courses this year and we feel they are fully prepared for all the challenges that brings. We congratulate them on their incredible work and wish them every luck for the future."
