Uckfield students raise funds towards all weather sports pitch

About £1,300 was raised towards building an all weather sports pitch in Uckfield at the town's community technology college on Friday.

There was a non-uniform day with the theme of sporting heroes and pupils attended lessons dressed as famous footballers, cricketers, gymnasts and horse riders.

There was also a penalty shootout competition with the prize being a Brighton and Hove Albion first team player shirt. The winner was Ollie Rouse.
