Worm farm plans approved

Plans for a 4,000 sq ft worm farm at a Halland farm have been approved by Wealden District Council.

Uckfield News carried a story in June about the planning proposal for land at Oakmeadows in Knowle Lane.

Documents accompanying the applications said the worms would be used to break down compostable materials into a 'high quality, sustainably produced compost' and to produce worm casts.
