Planning permission sought for tree house in Uckfield back garden
Retrospective planning permission is sought for a tree house to be built in the back garden of Tall Tinkers at 4 New Town, Uckfield.
A planning application has been submitted to Wealden Council by Mr Mark Harris.
The proposal is for all existing branches to remain and become part of the tree house. All exterior timber cladding would be cut around the branches.
The walls would be slices of beech and there would be beech tree supports with climbing plants growing up them.
The house would be 2.6 metres above the ground, two metres high, two metres wide and 2.3 metres long.
There would be roofing felt on the roof, Perspex windows and a wooden trap door with rope ladder underneath.
The planning application says work has started on the tree house but not completed.
