Uckfield students raise charity funds through sponsored reading
Year 7 students at Uckfield Community Technology College raised more than £1,700 through a sponsored reading event this year.
All the money goes to Readathon charities which include CLIC Sargent, the UK's leading cancer charity for children and young people, Roald Dahl's Marvellous children's Charity which specialises in helping children with serious neurological or blood conditions and ReadWell which provides good quality books for seriously ill children in hosptial.
