Bollard in New Road, Uckfield, knocked down for the fourth time
This bollard on the corner of New Road, Ridgewood, has been damaged four times by traffic going to the Ridgewood Industrial Park, according to Marion Rowland who lives nearby.
Marion said the bollard was placed to protect pedestrians and one of her pictures shows just how close it is to a footpath crossing.
Marion sent her pictures to Uckfield News in the same week we reported on Uckfield Town Council welcoming the idea of speed cushions being installed in New Road.
Chairman of the environment and leisure commitee Cllr Alan Whittaker said at the time: "Everybody knows New Road is a bit of a problem and I think traffic calming would be a good thing."
