Uckfield Farmers' Market is the best
Uckfield Farmers' Market has won the title of Best Sussex Farmers' Market for the second time.
The announcement was made last week at a Sussex Food and Drink Awards ceremony.
Also in the running were Pulborough and Shoreham farmers markets but it was a public vote that gave the accolade to Uckfield.
The last time the Uckfield Farmers Market won the award was in 2008.
The awards ceremony, held at the East Sussex National Golf Resort and Spa, was hosted by Danny Pike of BBC Sussex.
Natural PR sponsored the Best Sussex Farmers Market award and managing director Paula Seager presented it to Mr Roger Higgins.
The PR company ran the awards with A Taste of Sussex, part of Sussex Enterprise, and JustBIZ websolutions.
