Demonstration expected outside Uckfield nightspots

Police have received unconfirmed reports that residents are planning to demonstrate with placards outside two of Uckfield's nightspots.
The demonstration is expected at the northern end of the High Street. The aim is to complain about noise and anti-social behaviour.
It would take place during an evening at a weekend when large numbers of young people tend to congregate on the pavement outside the premises.
Anyone with any information about the planned demonstration should contact Uckfield Police.
Residents in the area have complained on many occasions in the past about noise and anti-social behaviour.
