Sponsors enable Uckfield Art Trail to go ahead this summer
Support from local businesses has ensured that this year's Uckfield Art Trail will go ahead on the final weekend of the Uckfield Festival.
The generosity of sponsors has enabled the art trail to secure several rooms at the central location of Uckfield Civic Centre for the weekend of Friday, July 20 to Sunday, July 22, 2012.
Key to the event going ahead has been the involvement of Barchester Healthcare who are due to open a new care home in Five Ash Down in Uckfield later this year.
So far the trail is also supported by local business and figures such as TR Fastenings, Michael Connor Roofing, Lawson Commercial, Hendry Exhibitions, and Photobox.
The organisers also say there is to be a launch party on the Friday evening with more details to be announced nearer the time.
The art trail is still encouraging artists to sign up by the end of May in order to secure space at the exhibition.
So far more than 25 artists are involved but it is anticipated that more will join now that the event is confirmed.
