A new estate agent has joined the team at Peter Oliver Homes just six months after the business was launched in Uckfield.
Chris Lane is already well-known in town having worked for another estate agency for a number of years.
He is 36, married to Yuwathida, and has two children, Freddie, aged three-and-a-half, and Emily aged 20 months. The family lives in Crowborough.
Chris joined Peter Oliver, at 103 High Street, last week and has already agreed his first sale.
He said it was exciting to be working with directors Nick Gulliver and Owen Badman, who he had known for years and worked with previously.
He told Uckfield News: “I had been with another company, which follows a corporate line, for a long time. This is a growing business and I thought it was a great opportunity to work with people I know and trust, and potentially to have to opportunity to develop and follow a new career path.”
He added that Peter Oliver was top in new sales and top of new listings online in Uckfield and that was a huge achievement in such a short space of time.
Peter Oliver director Nick said he and Owen had never expected to be as busy as they are six months after launching the business.
He said: “We have had some very nice recommendations from people who have used us, and that is lovely, amazing.
Nick added: “Owen and I are two very experienced guys working all hours and customer service is very important to us so we wanted to bring someone in quickly who could help us.
“Chris has made a difference after only a few days and we are pleased he has joined us.”
Nick said the company continued to support local events and he invited anybody seeking sponsorship to pop into the office for a coffee and chat about how Peter Oliver might be able to help.
