Staff from Piltdown-based Neva Consultants are celebrating after beating companies from across the region in the South Business Awards.
Neva was put forward for the Best Overall Business, Medium Business and Innovation categories of the awards after winning three sections in a Lewes and Wealden competition.
Then at a ceremony, attended from companies across Sussex and Hampshire, at The Grand in Brighton the team learned it had scooped the Best Medium Business Award.
Neva Consultants’ senior partner Graham Prince said: “We were absolutely thrilled to win a regional award against so many other companies from across a vast area.
“The team has worked extremely hard in the last two years to grow the company while creating opportunities for apprentices and supporting the local community.
“We are so pleased that our efforts have been recognised and hope that more potential customers will be encouraged to come to Neva for their motoring needs.”
Neva Consultants were also highly commended in the East Sussex Business of the Year 2015-2016 award at the Best4Biz conference held at the East Sussex National Hotel on Friday. The event was hosted by the Alliance of the Chambers of Commerce in East Sussex (ACES).
Neva offers contract hire, vehicle finance and fleet management consultancy services to all sectors ranging from multi-national companies, SMEs and private individuals.
The company operates a fleet size of 5,000 vehicles at any one time and deals with all aspects of vehicle procurement including vehicle choice, tax efficiencty, Green Fleet and Duty of Care obligations.
It was established in 1992 and there are 22 staff based at the head office in Piltdown and 30 people working for Neva franchises around the country.
