Alaska, a Bengal cat missing from Ridgewood, but now home again.

Missing Alaska now safe at home after being found injured

Alaska, the Bengal cat missing from Ridgewood, since Thursday, August 10, has been found.

Owner James Gordon-Johnson said he received a call from a driver who hit the cat on Thursday and was able to pinpoint the direction he ran off in after the collision.

James said: “From that information I targeted the geo location and started to search that area and found him under a shed in someone’s garden. He had a broken jaw and was very dehydrated but alive and after a vet check he is now home and getting better.”

James added this morning that Alaska was very lucky. “He really did not have much time left as he was so dehydrated. He spent all day yesterday drinking water – but he is happy to be home and the other cat, Sushi, is very happy to see him.”
