Manor teaching assistant’s novel is published as e-book

Liz Koch, a higher level teaching assistant at Manor Primary School, Uckfield, is celebrating publication of her novel as an e-book.

The book is titled The Adventures of Katie Button and the story revolves around what happens when your dreams collide with reality. It can be found on Amazon with more details about the story here.

The book has been published by Crooked Cat Publishing who are a small, independent business.  If enough copies are sold consistently over a period of time then the book might also be published in paperback via Amazon.

Liz, who is based in Year 5 at Manor but teaches across the school, is hoping to see it in bookshops one day too.

The publishing company is organising an ‘online launch party’ on Facebook and those who have pre-ordered will be able to read the book from midnight tonight.

The party is a virtual one which Liz will be hosting. There will be virtual cake and drinks and competitions and people are encouraged to leave comments and reviews of the book. The more reviews that are left on Amazon, the better it is for the independent publisher too.
